Airborne Amosite Asbestos, Field 1

This is a cleared membrane filter containing asbestos fibers. A 40X, NA 0.65 phase contrast objective is being used but the condenser phase anulus is not correctly adjusted to the phase filter in the back focal plane of the objective. This is the same field of view shown with correctly adjusted phase contrast in the next image.
