Glass Fiber Containing Acoustic Ceiling Tile

This shows the worn edge of a glass fiber containing acoustic ceiling tile. This edge rubs against the suspension "T-bar". These tiles are often claimed to be free of glass fiber because they use another name for the vitreous fiber used. The potential for health complaints is the same regardless of the name used for the vitreous fiber.
