Closed cell foams are used as insolation and as structural materials in shipping containers.
Floral foams are designed to retain water. The are typically microporous as well as being an open cell type foam.
Urea and Melamine-Formaldehyde Foam
This type of foam is used as insolation and as a filler for gaps in structures.
